The five year single award contract, awarded on 17 August 2012, has a $970M ceiling and included an initial order of $9M. WBB provided subject matter experts to support proposal planning, pricing research, writing and editing of the 500+ page proposal between October 2011 and March 2012. The $350K support effort by WBB included planning of and participation in Proposal Kick-off, Pink, Scarlet and Red Team reviews.
Notes of thanks to WBB from some of Kongsberg’s senior management:
Thank you for all of your support, patience, guidance and inputs throughout the process. We learned a tremendous amount from writing the CROWS II proposal but there is never a competition that is exactly the same – CROWS III was a whole new game for all of us. Your professionalism and insights related to the process and thought provoking discussions lifted us up an additional level – again, thank you for efforts as part of our team.
– Pamela Willgohs, Vice President, Special Projects (CROWS III Capture Manager)
…thanks for all of your help! You were a big value add on our area, and helped me gain a lot of perspective.
– Greg Platt, VP & General Manager, Johnstown PA
