APICS DC Metro and Whitney, Bradley & Brown, Inc. (WBB) are partnering to present a seminar on health logistics.
Combining health care with logistics focuses an important discussion on the challenge of meeting the needs of patients, public institutions, and medical providers, as well as the interaction of these groups with supply chain stakeholders.
This workshop expands on the delivery of health services beyond medical facilities, the purchase of medical supplies, and the interaction between medical providers and patients. The enhanced focus on health care logistics will utilize a cost-benefit approach to deliver global health care in public and private sector environments, enabling decision making on a total cost of ownership. USAID has been invited to give the keynote presentation, along with representatives from WBB.
