Career Development

You are here: Home / Careers / Career Development

Continuous learning is an investment in both the career development of our employees and the future success of WBB. We have various sources that our employees can take advantage of to further their personal and professional skills, knowledge of our products and services, and broader understanding of WBB and our customers.

Our learning and development programs fall under the umbrella of WBB University. WBB U is a central repository for recorded content, links to educational sources, and the first place to look for information on L&D.  The following fall under WBB U:

  • Lunch and Learn: This is an overarching a series of internally hosted presentations given by WBB personnel and focuses on WBB markets, capabilities and company-wide programs. Lunch and Learn sessions are recorded and made available through the WBB U SharePoint site.  They vary in frequency but are usually presented every two weeks.
  • LinkedIn Learning: This is an online source of over 15,000 courses that are self-paced and cover business and creative topics. Examples include Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, and Teams; Project Management courses (with Professional Development Units accepted by the Project Management Institute); Leadership and Group Dynamics; Data Analytics; Process Improvement; and many more.  LIL is available to every WBB employee, with complete access to the entire library.
  • Tuition Assistance: This is offered to employees who decide to pursue degree programs or participate in work-related training courses. WBB will help cover the cost of programs that are related to the employee’s job and seen as a positive investment (eligibility criteria apply).

It is vital for employees to strengthen their skills and industry knowledge as part of WBB’s continuous learning initiative and is also important to overall success.

WBB also promotes additional career development initiatives including mentoring, coaching, performance management, opportunities for promotion and advancement, networking with company leaders, and much more.
