December 22, 2008
Whitney, Bradley & Brown, Inc.

Whitney Bradley & Brown, Inc. (WBB) and The SPECTRUM Group (TSG) are pleased to announce their new teaming arrangement, the Homeland Security Federal Solutions Group (HSFSG). HSFSG will assist the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) as well as private companies with analyzing and solving major issues related to the development and implementation of comprehensive and practical homeland security policies and plans for the US.

The two companies bring many years of senior leadership, operations, management, and consulting experience to the new group. WBB brings more than 25 years of analytical problem-solving, acquisition program management expertise, and creative operational consulting experience from across the federal marketplace.

TSG is a cadre of senior executives and retired flag and general officers from the military services and other federal departments. Their command leadership and critical problem solving experience around the world will contribute immensely and allow the federal government and the private sector to benefit from this high level of expertise. Both companies have the well-deserved reputation of listening to their clients, formulating practical and timely solutions, and responding to client needs.

HSFSG is prepared to assist the new leadership of the DHS to solve a myriad of management issues and enable the new team to hit the ground running. These issues include acquisition and program management, creating effective command and control systems, integrating the disparate agencies, and analyzing problems across DHS.

HSFSG’s executive team is knowledgeable in IT and operations areas and can create new architectures for resolving complex issues such as protecting our borders and screening air and maritime cargo. Both companies have expertise in the development of the appropriate architecture for cyber-security, and can draw upon experts to develop programs for working with industry on critical infrastructure issues, and who can train employees in solving problems and responding to the public. Finally, their solutions-oriented approach can help DHS communicate the successful resolution of these issues in a timely manner.

The leadership of the new Group includes Mr. Doug Connell, Senior Vice President for WBB, and Mr. David Jones, CEO of TSG. For further information on the respective members and experience of the new team, see spectrumgrp.com and wbbinc.com.
