Whitney, Bradley & Brown, Inc.
John F. Kelly, WBB Manager for Expeditionary Warfare Analysis, won the top honor of the Individual Industry Award category in the Association for Enterprise Integration's 2009 Defense Enterprise Architecture Achievement (DEAA) Awards.
The DEAA Award given to one government and one industry individual for exceptional achievement and contributions toward development and/or deployment of enterprise architecture within the Department of Defense (DoD).
While supporting the Office of Naval Research (ONR) in developing DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF) products for Sense and Respond Logistics (S&RL), Kelly demonstrated innovative and distinctive techniques for identifying required capabilities and documenting gaps. He contributed significantly to ONR’s efforts to transition S&RL from a Future Naval Capabilities Program to operational capability for the Marine Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF).
The architecture effort enabled the identification of numerous areas where current Programs of Record are deficient in supporting the type of sophisticated analysis required to support this capability. Furthermore, it assisted in developing metrics by which future Research and Development can be evaluated as new capabilities become available.
John Kelly joined WBB in 2005 and is currently the Manager of Expeditionary Warfare Analysis. He is a retired Marine Infantry Officer with over a decade of experience in applying simulation technology to meet operational requirements.
WBB, established in 1981 by J. Richard Brown, is an employee owned company with more than 330 employees and $82M revenue
