Integrated Logistics Planning
Sustainment Planning and Implementation
WBB's comprehensive and integrated logistics support planning facilitates development and integration of the ten 10 individual logistic support elements to specify, design, develop, acquire, test, field, and support systems. The ability to maximize joint warfighting effectiveness is predicated on establishing and maintaining a foundation of logistics support throughout the system life cycle. To develop this logistics support foundation and sustain essential warfighter performance, strong product support and sustainment strategies are key and essential, particularly in the early acquisition phases.
Ensuring sustainment is an integral part of a system's design begins with clearly articulating supportability requirements. Understanding the interdependencies that affect full achievement of supportability goals is critical to risk management, affordability and trade-off decision-making during system design and development. A successful support strategy is based on solid acquisition logistics planning that encompasses all elements of sustainment. Bringing this plan to fruition is the result of continuous assessment and stakeholder collaboration. Strong product support and maintenance planning is critical to fielding a supportable platform. Delivering readiness and achieving availability targets requires an understanding of enabling concepts such as Performance Based Logistics and distance learning
WBB offers consulting services across a program's life-cycle to improve program performance at all acquisition category levels.
