WBB Releases Contractor Laws and Rules of War Training Course
August 1, 2008
Whitney, Bradley & Brown, Inc.
WBB has developed a web-based course to satisfy the requirements of Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR) Supplement Case 2005-D013 (Contractor Personnel Authorized to Accompany US Armed Forces) and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Case 2005-011 (Contractor Personnel in a Designated Operational Area or Supporting a Diplomatic or Consular Mission).
WBB's online course for contractors satisfies these new US Government requirements. Developed by WBB professionals, the course:
- Explains the laws and rules of war from the contractor’s perspective
- Introduces students to the sources of the laws and rules of war, the purposes of those laws and rules, how they apply, and how they are enforced
- Synthesizes the laws and rules of war into rules of behavior to make them easily understood and applied by the student
WBB received two independent legal reviews of the course; former US Military Judge Advocate Generals who determined that it meets the requirements of the new US Government regulations.
Corporate customers can either use the standard course or customize the course to include customer specific content such as corporate policies.
WBB professionals are available to demonstrate the functionality of the online course, to explain the content of the course, and to answer questions regarding contracting and pricing.
