GPS and Precision Weapons Training Importance

DoD long wanted a true "fire and forget" guidance system where a weapon could simply be given target coordinates and then destroys it. WBB's Global Positioning System (GPS) and Precision Weapons Training course discusses and examines current and future scenarios, threats, missions and requirements for GPS-based targeting. GPS targeting systems allow a precision-guided weapon to be given coordinates, find the target on its own, strike the target in all-weather conditions and minimize collateral damage.
