Lean Six Sigma (LSS) – Continuous Process Improvement (CPI)

Challenge: The US Navy is attempting to maximize organizational effectiveness, find savings, and foster cultural change through a fully integrated, multiple level Lean Six Sigma Continuous Process Improvement program.
Methodology: WBB LSS Black Belts developed a complete LSS rollout program for Commander, Navy Installations Command and Naval Facilities Engineering Command that included Champion, Yellow Belt, Green Belt, and Black Belt training. In addition, WBB Black Belts provided guidance on Green Belt and Black Belt project selection, as well as coaching and consulting support in order to assist newly trained personnel accomplish their tasks.
Value: The Lean Six Sigma Continuous Process Improvement program is well underway. The two commands are extremely pleased with both WBB training and WBB's organizational ability. WBB has provided training at numerous sites and has flexed to meet scheduling challenges. Numerous Lean Six Sigma projects are underway and WBB Black Belts are actively coaching Lean Six Sigma teams.
